Data Analyst -Power Markets has a key role in expanding
the information source network for the Indian Power
market.
Analyst - Power Markets
The successful candidate must be able to provide
analytic support to the Power research team and be prepared to
contribute to consulting projects covering the electric power
industry. The candidate must possess strong quantitative modeling
skills.
The candidate will be required to create and maintain databases for
the regulations, projects, generation, transmission, supply and
demand models and data. In addition, the candidate will also be
required to initiate research and write reports; and provide team
and individual expertise on issues affecting power markets.
Successful employees at Infraline are those with strong analytical,
writing, and presentation skills. Much of our work involves teasing
out underlying trends and hidden insights from data and numeric
analysis – and being able to understand the technical aspects of
energy markets and translating those into qualitative concepts and
analysis. Because our core products center on written reports and
roundtable discussions, strong writing abilities and interpersonal
skills are essential.
Excellent computer skills with strong skill and competence in
software applications and database management are important. We seek

Requirements
The analyst must be a university graduate with a
2-year full time professional business management course. Strong
data management and analysis skills required as well
as a very high level of attention to detail.

Senior Manager - Natural Gas Markets
Description: The
Analyst - Oil & Gas Markets has a key role in expanding
the information source network for the Indian Oil &
Gas markets.
Infraline is
looking for a middle level natural gas industry professional to lead
our natural gas supply research. The candidate should possess five
or more years experience in the sector. He or she must have a
background in management and should have been involved in oil/gas
upstream research and analysis, especially economic analysis of
oil/gas field development. Experience in developing detailed supply
outlooks would be an advantage, and a sound knowledge of the Indian
upstream is important. Focused natural gas consulting experience is
desirable.
The successful candidate will lead Infraline’s natural gas supply
research and deliver strategic natural gas consulting services to
Infraline’s client base. This candidate will be expected to have
developed a broad network of contacts within the oil/gas industry.
The ideal candidate will be well known within the natural gas
industry, as evidenced by having presented at industry forums or
having been published on key industry topics. To succeed, this
individual will possess intellectual curiosity, ability to think
independently, ability to critically analyze strategic issues, and a
demonstrated ability to represent ideas in writing on via
presentation. Travel approximately 25-40%. Relocation is negotiable.
